Alex heads up the management of the Trade Mark Services team at Keltie which consists of Trade Mark Administrators and Trade Mark Paralegals. His main responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of the support function and maintain a good level of support across the Trade Mark department to the Fee Earners. Alex is also involved with all matters of professional work, not limited to providing cost estimates for large filing and recordal projects, Due Diligence, reviewing watching services and searches, case management, client portfolio management, acting as a main liaison for both client and associate and overseeing the preparation and filing trade mark applications worldwide.
He also handles several recordal applications including assignments, licences, changes of name and caveats; alongside reviewing, improving, and developing in-house workflows to the IPMS to increase efficiency.
Alex joined Keltie in September 2016, and has over five years’ experience working within the IP industry, predominantly dealing with different level of Trade Mark matters and client interaction. Furthermore, he had completed the CITMA Paralegal course in 2020 and now sits on the CITMA Paralegal Events Working Group.
